A student-led multimedia newsroom where young people learn to create, broadcast, and think critically about the media they consume every day.

Why we built this

Nearly half of all teenagers are online constantly — 90% on YouTube daily. Instead of treating this as a problem, Trinity Media+ turns it into an opportunity. We believe the most powerful response to passive screen time is to put students behind the camera, not in front of it.

Trinity Media+ is our answer to infinite scrolling, digital anxiety, and FOMO: a real production studio inside the school, run entirely by students, publishing real content to the campus and beyond.

"We don't just shoot videos — we are building a full-fledged television production cycle where every student masters a 21st-century profession."

Three pillars of the programme

  1. Digital Wellness. Shifting students from passive consumers to empowered creators — changing the psychological relationship with screens.
  2. Media Literacy. Understanding algorithms, fact-checking, and ethical digital citizenship — by building the media themselves.
  3. 21st-Century Skills. Fostering public speaking, empathy, and collaborative problem-solving through project-based storytelling.

What students do

The Media Hub

Trinity Media+ operates from a dedicated space on campus with three zones: a professional Studio (green screen, multi-camera setup, studio lighting), an Editing Suite (high-performance rendering stations), and a Newsroom (Kanban planning boards, collaborative scripting tables).

Content streams throughout the school day — morning weather and a quote of the day, live campus challenges at breaks, and daily recaps and project premieres in the evening.

A system built for growth

Students progress through three levels: Trainee → Specialist → Lead. Leads mentor the next cohort and guarantee final broadcast quality. The programme compounds — every year, more students carry professional production skills forward.

Trinity Media+ positions our school alongside the world's leading student media programmes — a convergent multimedia newsroom that is uniquely ours, built by our students, for our community.
